Hilton Hotel chain is one of the largest and most famous hotel chains in the world. There are also a large number of Hilton hotels in Germany.

There are currently (as of 2022) a total of 8 Hilton hotels in and around Munich. Of these, two are at the airport, or near it, and one is near the Munich Trade Fair Center in the suburb of Feldkirchen and thus relatively far outside the city.
In the city:
– Hilton Munich City
Probably the oldest Hilton hotel in Munich. Centrally located, good public transportation and a nice neighborhood to explore.
– Hilton Munich Park
Located a bit north in the city, directly at the huge famous English Garden. Still relatively good connection to public transport (bus) or who likes to walk a bit also within walking distance of the famous district of Schwabing.
– Hampton by Hilton Munich City Center East
A very new, modern Hampton in the east of the city in Berg Am Laim district.
Very good public transport connection, as the hotel is located directly at the S-Bahn (urban rail) station. However, you have to make compromises, because the surrounding area is a residential area without great nightlife options. Ideal for day trips (e.g. Salzburg, Garmisch-Partenkirchen), as the Ostbahnhof (Munich East Station) is not far away.
– Hampton by Hilton Munich City West
– Hilton Garden Inn Munich City West
These two hotels are literally right next door to each other, respectively, are housed in the same building. Don’t let the term „West“ mislead you. The hotels are located west of the city center, but still in what Munich residents would call the city center. Extremely good public transport connections (S-Bahn, subways, buses and tramways are all within a 5-minute walk). The only drawback is that it is located right next to a major transportation artery and the main rail line.
– Hampton by Hilton Munich City North
Also a new, modern hotel but in the north of the city with few nightlife options. Public transportation is still good, although it could be better. The hotel is located on a main access road in a commercial area.
